In his present position as Director, AIS Sales, EMEA and APAC for ORBCOMM, George Best brings 10 years of knowledge and experience gained through the study and application of the use of Satellite AIS in Government Maritime Agencies, National Navies, Vessel Tracking Service Providers, Added Value Resellers, Shipping Companies and Logistic Companies. He currently resides in Mallorca, Spain

George Best has over 50 years of experience in the world of Computers, Networking, Telecommunications and Satellite Services.. He held C level executive positions in these industries operating both domestically and internationally.

He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors and has served on many boards of both private and public companies including Chairman of Nuvotech Ventures International Inc, President & CEO Fonorola Inc., a founding Board Member of the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC), Founding Chairman of Canadian Competitive Telecommunications Association, (CTA), Board Member of the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors (IOD) and a member of the Canadian Government SAGIT committee on International Trade.
